Short Summary
We explain the way of thinking when modeling production and network optimization solvers using concepts like demand, inventory, capacity, target stocks, lot size, campaign planning, shelf-life etc. We use custom made reports to learn how to validate solver results.
When & Why?
If you are a supply chain planning software implementation consultant or business key user. The videos shows the way supply chain constraints are translated into mathematical equations and further into software.
How to?
The material does not require advanced programming skills. We build the models using an app created by & with AMPL. The modelling builds on understanding supply chain concepts so this is a pre-requisite.
